Sompoton Spirit

'Sompoton Spirit' is an IP that celebrates heritage through a modern and minimalistic IP mascot inspired by Borneo culture, specifically the Sompoton, a traditional Dusun instrument. Since the IP stands for harmony between music and community, he has a lanternfly companion. In order to showcase local craftsmanship while maintaining a consistent visual identity, Sompoton Spirit incorporates traditional Dusun and Pinakol patterns into both his clothes and packaging. The concept is not just a cultural tribute, but also holds a personal connection and family heritage as Arina's grandmother is part Dusun.
