Ronai

Ronai is an IP character inspired by Roti Canai, a popular dish enjoyed by Malaysia's three major ethnic communities. The character aims to promote Malaysian food culture while encouraging people to appreciate the cultural value of familiar everyday traditions. Inspired by the traditional Indian dhoti, Ronai's costume reflects both Malaysian and Indian cultural influences. The hood is designed after the shape of Roti Canai, featuring torn and crumb-like details to enhance its visual identity. The beige and reddish-orange colour palette is inspired by the appearance of Roti Canai and its signature curry, creating a warm, friendly, and energetic character that represents Malaysia's diverse culinary heritage.
