OOH AAH

OOH AAH is a collectable IP character series inspired by Chinese cultural beliefs and Malaysian identity. The monkey was chosen because, in Chinese culture, it symbolises intelligence, cleverness, luck, and playful energy, inspired by the legendary Monkey King, Sun Wukong. At the same time, monkeys are closely associated with Malaysia's tropical environment and wildlife, creating a bridge between local ecology and traditional symbolism. The series reimagines four meaningful Chinese spiritual figures, Caishenye, Fuxing, Guanyin, and Wenshu, into cute modern monkey mascots. Through soft colours, traditional clothing, and simplified motifs, OOH AAH transforms cultural heritage into an approachable, youthful, and emotionally engaging collectable character design.
