LEEY CHEE KHENG

Inspired by Sarawak sea turtle and the rich heritage of the Iban community, I designed this original IP character as a cultural ambassador of Sarawak. The character combines traditional Iban attire, natural earth-tone colours, and a shield inspired by protective Iban symbolism to represent resilience, cultural identity, and harmony with nature. Every design element was carefully researched and respectfully adapted to preserve the essence of Iban culture while avoiding sacred figurative motifs. This IP aims to celebrate Sarawak's biodiversity, indigenous heritage, and environmental conservation through an engaging and approachable character.
