Engie Moments
JOANNE TING JIA SING
Engie is a friendly mascot inspired by two iconic symbols of Sarawak: the hornbill (Burung Enggang) and the traditional Sarawak musical instrument, the Engkerurai. By combining these distinctive elements into one character, Engie celebrates Sarawak's rich natural and cultural heritage in a modern and approachable way. The hornbill represents the beauty and biodiversity of Sarawak, while the Engkerurai reflects its unique musical traditions and cultural identity. Simplified shapes, warm colours, and expressive features give Engie a cheerful and welcoming personality. Designed to appeal to audiences of all ages, Engie encourages greater appreciation of Sarawak's heritage, traditions, creativity, and cultural identity.
