Chamketam is a collectible series featuring a hermit crab character having its shell shaped as Malaysian religious buildings. The buildings are based on the 3 main Malaysian races: Malaysian, Chinese and Indian. The idea behind this design choice is thepotential of catching tourists' attention by having the crabs' shell based on famous Malaysian religious architectures while being praised by locals for more representation. The cutesy and iconic designs can also be catered towards a wide age range of audiences.
