Bakul Girls

The concept of this design is inspired by Melaka's rich cultural heritage and traditional food. The illustration features two playful characters sitting inside a Bakul Sia, symbolising celebration, gift-giving, and the Baba Nyonya culture. The characters wear hats inspired by the lid of the Bakul Sia to create a unique and memorable visual identity. One character is holding Chicken Rice Balls, while the other is holding Nyonya Kuih, representing two of Melaka's most iconic local delicacies. By combining these cultural elements into a cheerful illustration, the design celebrates Melaka's traditions while creating an attractive and meaningful packaging concept.
